Justin Cianciolo
Justin Cianciolo is a Baltimore-based multimedia artist, creative director, and co-founder of The Kneverworks. Driven by a desire to connect people through story, structure, and a touch of the surreal, his work lives at the intersection of deep emotion and meticulous execution.
Justin’s multidisciplinary roots started in film school and the local DIY music scene. While working in a photo lab mastering color-correction and restoration, he spent his nights playing in Baltimore bands, using Photoshop to design gig flyers. It was through a mutual musical collaborator that Justin first met Kellen Niemeier.

Their creative chemistry eventually followed Justin into a decade-long career in the bicycle service industry. The turning point came when Justin convinced Kellen to try painting a bicycle frame—a project that resulted in Justin’s favorite bike and ignited Kellen’s passion for custom frame painting.
The duo later formalized their partnership with "Macaulay," a massive Patapsco Valley State Park mural inside Dirt Rooster Bicycles, which ultimately laid the foundation for The Kneverworks.

Today, Justin serves as the studio’s East Coast creative anchor, handling everything from directing video projects to managing the logistics of large-scale art builds. Backed by experience in web development and digital strategy, he ensures the studio thrives as both an artistic venture and a growing business.
When he’s not behind the scenes, Justin can be found composing music, filming experimental videos, or sketching his next weird idea into motion.
