1. Frame Intake & Vision:

We discuss your personal style, color palettes, and design inspiration to map out the concept.

2. Prep & Base Layers:

The bare frame is meticulously cleaned, prepped, and primed to guarantee flawless paint adhesion.

3. Custom Painting:

Your approved design is carefully applied by hand using advanced, layered techniques.

4. Finish & Protection:

A premium protective clear coat and final detailing are applied, followed by a 24 to 48-hour drying and curing process for maximum durability.

Ready to Transform Your Ride?

To ensure a flawless, professional finish, we require all bicycles to be completely stripped down to a bare frame before painting begins.

If you aren't comfortable taking your bike apart, we’ve got you covered. We partner directly with our local friends at Dirt Rooster Bicycles, who can professionally handle the complete disassembly and reassembly of your bike for a separate fee. They'll ensure your components are safely removed before painting and perfectly tuned up when your freshly painted frame is ready to rebuild.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • No. All custom paint jobs require the bike to be stripped down to the bare frame. However, you can drop your complete bike off at our partner shop, Dirt Rooster Bicycles. Their team will professionally strip down the bike and build it back up for you once painting is complete.

  • Please note that all painting and mechanical services are handled separately. If you need professional help stripping down your bike, our neighbors at Dirt Rooster Bicycles run a full-service shop just a few blocks from our Catonsville studio. Head over to their website to check out their services, or swing by the shop to join them for a group ride!

  • Yes! If you have the tools and mechanical knowledge, you can save on mechanic fees by stripping everything down to the bare frame yourself and bringing just the frame directly to us.

  • Most projects take [1 to 3 weeks] depending on the complexity of your chosen design tier. Once the final coat is applied, we require a mandatory 24 to 48-hour drying and curing window to guarantee your finish is rock-hard and durable. This timeline does not include the scheduling buffer for Dirt Rooster's mechanical tear-down and rebuild.
