This painting developed along multiple journeys. Starting in Portland, and then making the journey with us across the country to Catonsville, where it was finished, and then sold at our first Artscape!
The rocky textures emerged, dissolved, and then re-emerged into something that feels almost holographic. Seeming like significant medium build-up (but relatively streamlined) the foreground and background seem to shift independently when viewing the painting from multiple angles.
We also made a dad hat to match it.
